No Lea fan should be without this beautiful Christmas offering. The CD description lists 10 tracks, but those are just the songs – there are also 4 spoken tracks:
1) Introduction (spoken, English)…beautiful.
2) Mary, Did You Know?...gorgeous, uncommon religious song, but I’m really glad Lea included it.
3) Grown-Up Christmas List…love this song and the way Lea sings it – I think if fits her perfectly.
4) Pasko Na, Sinta Ko…lovely.
5) Wake Up (spoken)…this was recorded before Lea’s daughter was born, but I can now hear Lea saying this to her little angel.
6) The Gift…with Michael K. Lee – one of my favorite Lea duets.
7) It’s Just Another New Year’s Eve…I’m used to Barry Manilow’s rendition, but I now prefer Lea’s.
8) Prayer (spoken, English/Tagalog)…very nice.
9) Sana Ngayong Pasko…nice.
10) Even Santa Fell In Love…very sweet.
11) Thinking About You (spoken)…even just talking Lea takes my breath away with this!
12) Merry Christmas, Darling…I’m so used to Karen Carpenter’s stunning vocals for this song, that I was amazed to find that I liked Lea’s vocals more!
13) The Christmas Song…beautiful rendition of this classic.
14) Twelve Days of Christmas…Lea’s perfect vocals, again!
I cannot recommend this album highly enough...it should be an annual part of everybody’s MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
